There exists a lore in the Orientals, one of ghosts and ghouls, stories that are told of beautiful creatures that possess supernatural powers. I read of some of these in a book once and thought to myself: "What a fascinating thought process!" One of this creatures was the qarinah of the desert, a spirit that transforms itself into a beautiful woman before haunting the prey, which is often a man. I also thought to practice my skill in writing Arabic because I was in Northern Nigeria at the time where Islam and Arabic is the dominant thing. If you look closely, you'd see my attempt at Arabic. You need not laugh. It's a long story. Anyway, I made it into an artwork - The Desert Qarinah.
